1969 - the Movie "Paint Your Wagon" was my inspiration for wanting to move to Oregon. My idea of living in a lush green enviornment kept me enticed. Before graduating from high school, I visited the University of Oregon campus, hoping to sway the Ducks Wrestling Coach to recruit me as a member for his roster on the 1972 team. He declined (unfortunately for him) and as fate would have it, I ended up attending the University of California at Berkeley. 

After 9 years in Seattle, I migrated to Portland in 1994 and fell in Love with the area. For the first time in my life I finally felt at Home. Born in California - I am now and forever will be an Oregonian.
